The holidays are coming around the corner. With just a swing in the atmosphere of the Christmas Spirit arising, we can conclude this is also a much necessary time of thinking over what we did for the year, and what is important at the moment. You can conclude what you should do this season, what resolutions you should make and where to turn your head to next. The question is, what is on your to do list for this Christmas, and we might add to say, why not, also the new year ahead. For a girl it may be easy to conclude, that some of the main points would be that you want to do better in your job, relationships, and/or even your diet and physical health. Let's start this new chance at reminiscing on our important decisions as an opportunity to launch your life in a brighter and progressive step forward into a better "you" and a better surrounding for everyone.

Stop by the Church.

If you've been too busy this year, with running errands during weekends, or squeezing in time for loved ones and friends over the weekend, but haven't had time to be with the number one altering factor in your life, now is the time to take a moment at the alter. Visit your neighborhood church or favorite church, for that matter. And, not just once, but a few times over the months these holidays. This is the most important. As you conclude the year, it is time to look at the past and see what you did and what are the situations that need to be looked upon and even thanked for. Have a prayer. Light a candle. Kneel at a bench, and give thanks and gratitude. You had another year. You had many blessings of course. Things could be worse. Don't only focus on your problems, at the while, but shine light to Jesus on what you are so happy about. Then later you can focus on the things you wish could be improved upon, or that worry you, and let God know everything, all your concerns. Don't leave anything out. We should be as intimate with Him as possible. God always answers your prayers. Just pay close attention. You will see it, even if it is not the way you thought it would be planned or gamed out.

Meditation.

Reading a book, or taking time away from your family and friends, just to be alone: this is necessary, at times. Maybe mediating in a quiet room, or taking a jog to clear your mind, or doing yoga. Taking a vacation to the province, or just watching a movie by yourself! Anything done with the solitude of just you or in a quiet moment, gives you a chance to reflect on the year and plan out all your motives for the next, and even for that matter plan out a great time with your loved ones during the holidays. Just be alone for awhile! And maybe not just a couple, but many frequent times throughout this season. Give yourself a break from things. No better time, than the end of the year to give yourself a breather.

Your Physical Being.

If you've been eating too much fast foods. If you haven't been getting enough sleep throughout the year. If you've been consuming more alcohol then planned on a regular basis. If you've been addicted to something unhealthy, like advil, sleeping pills or even stressing out through smoking, make a plan to rejuvenate yourself through a much healthier manner, and find something to replace all your addictions that have been taking a toll on your physical well-being. Don't go too far fetched with your plan though. Take small steps, first. If you've done good with those for a few months or a while, then you can take on bigger resolutions and challenges. And never take out something in your life that you've been so addicted to, without replacing something else in its favoritism. It's not easy to do it this way, according to experienced experts throughout the ages.

Your Relationships.

Of course, we all know that loved ones and close people, are who we should focus on during Christmas and New Years, but think the most about your parents, if yours are still alive. They are the people who love you the most. If they are not gone, already, you are quite lucky. They need your attention. If someone close to you, who is a family member, is having a problem, you can have a chance to talk to them during the holidays, as this is a time for the family, not always your friends. You can be with your friends always throughout the year, but your family is the people who usually miss you the most at this time, and sometimes the ones we take for granted, since they are always there for us.

New Day, New Regimen. Take each day, as a new opportunity to be grateful always and in a good mood this starting of the new year, to make a positive change for whatever lies ahead. Aim to eat more vegetables and especially fruit. You can splurge on your "red" days though. No biggie. And also aim to reduce stress, with exercise. Maybe just starting off 15 minutes two to three times a week is great. If you can do pilate's, this is the best exercise with some few minutes of cardio or boxing. Also try to imagine each day, as a positive new chance to improve yourself in your work and hidden passions. And drink less coffee as a reminder, and more water. Then end the day, washing your face every night, before bed to fight off stress as well. It relieves you, and is refreshes you to be ready for another day to come, the next morning.

Getting in that To-Do-List.

All the goals you wanted out of the way before the year ends, those are okay to finish at any time you want. You aren't Superman, so don't put a big responsibility on yourself that you don't deserve, when you already have enough as it is. The only thing on your to-do-list should be spending less money, and giving yourself breather's with loved ones and vacations to escape.

New Years!

And lastly, think of your wardrobe, make-up and hair! New years, is time for a new style, or a fresher output in your clothes! New year, a new you. Why not? Trends change every second, anyways.
