So, Now it's Neutral Girls?

Today, more and more girls are going neutral in makeup. They are using light skin tones for makeup unlike in the 90's when red and glam was a fad, and we knew little about what to do to flaunt our natural traces. Then coming into the beginning of the 21st century heavy foundations and mascara's came to the market with black nail polish. Now, and today, we are embracing the "natural" aura, so to say, instead, and finally...Yes! There is many different types of shades in lipsticks these days, but light and faded is becoming a basic must have. Here, in this article, we will pinpoint out when to use neutrals and when to go a little girly. Don't be afraid to try both.

As girls who experiment and play with makeup, we, ourselves, know what looks best to our aura and our certain features and what is the best grace to the needle, so to say. We should always "highlight", not cover or converge our face. Our face matches everything else about our features and the whole package we sell as a personality. Don't hide it. And don't be afraid to show it off a little. There are three shades that flaunt a Filipino Woman's composure well: pale skin tone, pink/orange flush, and magenta bold. However, there are different composure's to each, and also set ups and preparations, depending on your face and skin type.

Pale Skin Ton

There is the most famous and basic neutral shade, and that is the skin tone shade, that is pale and beige, light brown, as in very light semi-brown. We use this when we where jeans or a white attire. You can wear this also in basic clothing colors, but not too fancy or complicated colors, usually. This colour is so great because it deep-sets and adds focus to your eyes, and even better if you add mascara. When wearing this tone on the lips, it is best not to add too much blush. Just a slight and very sensitive amount. Try not to add too much makeup within this composure, as the lips are kind of bold as it is, with the beige, and we are trying to send the message of a light composure.

Overall, have fun with this color that speaks out, "I am not afraid, to show my upper cheek-bones and eyes."

Pink Flush/ Orange

Pink Flush or orange are the most fun colors, for a Pinay girl, and actually I think this is the quite favorite among girls who want to look a little feminine and not too flaunting, but a real, honest and innocent touch of beautiful. Pink flush or orange, an innocent back to school look, is usually acquired through lip gloss, lip tint, or liquid lip balms. You can pick either of the two colours. Using lip sticks for this colour, do not wear well or look attractive however. Go liquid, instead, with these two.

Pink flush, on first note, really brings out your eyelashes and outer colors of your brown (Pinay) eyes and brightens your face. Orange flush brings out your skin and overall hair in your eyebrows, lashes and scalp. If you have freckles or wavy hair, orange flaunts these well. It is hard to pull off the orange colour though, but the women who can, really do it well. And we find that most of them who do pull it off, usually have thick or gorgeous brows. Lucky are they...hmmm.

When we speak of pink flush, now, we are NOT talking about the actual, total complete, blown out BOLD pink color, but rather a light skin tone, and of course, soft hint of pink, type of shade, as we are still speaking of a neutral colour, here. Neutral is more attractive and trending. Neutral and natural go hand in hand, always as a goddess and heaven-send.

When we speak of orange, we are speaking as if the color you get when you leave the beach, as a sun glow, or tan exposed look. Don't choose the orange that looks too cheap, like bought at a "99 American cent store". You can still buy a reasonable and inexpensive product, but choose well. Choose the one that is found in Watsons and is a liquid tint. Orange shades for lips and cheeks are best in a tint form. The orange color is usually applied on the cheeks for girls in the Philippines, but this color actually can be a good go-to for your lips as well, if you know how to choose, and how to apply. Tints really set off the pigments in the lips for this colour, very well, when applied in the correct manner, such as small amounts roaming towards the top line, senstive curve of the kissing part of the lips and the center starting hole, when you form that "kiss". Don't grace it in the full amount like a normal lip stick. Be gentle when you use orange.

Magenta Bold

Actually we can put burgandy, ruby and magenta, all here. Some girls really look drop dead amazing, when they go bold. Go hard, or go home, as they say! Burgandy and ruby are great, as many Filipino girls trend this style and rock it well, but if you want a more soft look that still sets off a style as daring, try magenta. Wear this color when you are dressing up to kill. Joke... but, literally, really, this color sets off eyes when passed by, so best to wear it, when you aren't afraid of attention. And the great thing about this color, is it can go with absolutely anything. Who says you have to only wear dark at night?
